The River 1

Throughout the summer, the team around Aimé C. Songe alias Clément Layes invites you to a personal encounter on a rowing boat just in time for sunset. Together with different artists, participants embark on a dream-like journey to question the concept of an active and productive life and take time to decelerate. Aimé C. Songe is an artistic persona of Clément Layes who takes the time to grieve and find new ways to come together with the audience and the world outdoors and in nature.
The performance lasts about one hour and is happening at sunset time on a rowing boat on the water. The boat is 5 meter by 1m40. It is a classic rowing boat. Life vests are available. A performer will welcome you and be your host. The performance is scripted and you will receive a listening device to follow the performance while your host navigates the boat. It is a quiet and relaxed performance. There is only for you to look and listen. During the performance you will be invited to sit or lay down in the boat, sometimes with closed eyes. It is up to you.
